History

Owner and Siem Reap restaurateur Sothea Seng was looking for unique location for his new venture and when he came across this traditional Khmer house just off Charles de Gaulle, he knew he had found the perfect spot. The elegant property formerly belonged to a governor of Angkor Thom’s Peak Sneng district.

Beautifully decorated in the Khmer style with original features such as carved wooden roof detail and blinds, the house boasts an airy wooden upstairs section as well as a contemporary ground floor area which has been transformed into the main dining-room, bar and VIP air-conditioned room. The house has been carefully restored in keeping with all its original design features, including an attractive leaf roof sourced from the Kulen Mountain area.
